On Wednesday 14th July 2010, the first annual Sunflower Run for Fun took place at Newark Showground, in aid of Beaumond House Community Hospice in Newark.
The event saw over 300 participants, including a team of 20 from Ambitions Personnel, all completing the 5km course and raising over £10,000 for this worthwhile cause.
These valuable funds equate to 125 days of patient care, 714 hours of community care or 2,000 patient meals!

We would also like to give a special mention to Ambitions Personnel’s Susan McCormick, who finished in 1st place with a time of 24 minutes!
